Aire Serv Michigan Ventures Beyond Heating & Cooling

Known primarily as a heating and cooling company, Aire Serv of Michigan is now offering water purification services. Owner Dennis Wissner says the company decided to add the services because he is a Grand Ledge resident who has seen water issues in his own home. Wissner also says because his company is headquartered in Grand Ledge, he wants what is best for his employees and clients.

Because Aire Serv has had a partnership with vendors who offer the equipment and training, Wissner believes it is a natural transition.

New water purification services include:

Water Filtration: the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids and gases from water.

Water Purification: Similar to water filtration, the process of water purification works to remove impurities from water. However, the impurities focused on in the purification process are those that relate to the overall safety of the water: biological contaminants, viruses, chemicals, and other materials.

Water Softeners: The softeners remove calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. Soft water can extend the lifetime of plumbing and water heaters by reducing or eliminating scale build-up in pipes and fittings.
